Step isn't counting my steps.
Make sure you've granted Step access to Apple Health. Go to iPhone Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → Step and enable Steps and Walking + Running Distance.
My streak reset unexpectedly.
Streaks are calculated based on step data in Apple Health. If a day shows zero steps, the streak resets. Check that your iPhone or Apple Watch was worn that day and that Health data synced correctly.
The Apple Watch app isn't showing my goal.
Open the Step app on your iPhone first — it will sync the goal to your Watch automatically over Bluetooth. Make sure both devices are nearby and connected.
How do I change my daily goal?
Tap the Goal card on the main screen, or go to Profile → Settings → Daily Goal.
Does Step use my data or connect to the internet?
No. Step is 100% on-device. It reads from Apple Health and never connects to any server. See our Privacy Policy.
